We are still waiting for Ubuntu 12.10, but we already know when to expect new Ubuntu 13.04. As usual Canonical did't prepared any revolution in release schedule.
According to Ubuntu Wiki Ubuntu we have to wait only about one month to see first Alpha release of Ubuntu 13.04:
- December 6th, 2012 - Alpha 1 release
- February 7th, 2013 - Alpha 2 release
- March 7th, 2013 - Beta release
- April 18th, 2013 - Release Candidate (RC) release
- April 25th, 2013 - Final release of Ubuntu 13.04
So this time we will actually see Release Candidate release (not Beta 2 as expected before). Also the Ubuntu Developer Summit will start November 1st so we don't have to wait too long to see plans for next Ubuntu 13.04.
