Turbo Pascal programming in Ubuntu Linux

Linux as well as Windows make available on its platform, many programming environments. As for the Turbo Pascal actually the choice is not too large. I will show You how to start programming in Pascal on Ubuntu.

At the begin we will need to download the Free Pascal. To this end, go to 'System => Administration => Synaptic Package Manager' menu. Now You should see the package manager liche on the picture:

Now click on the search button and type 'Free Pascal'. You should install all found packages but it's not necessary. If you install only the shown on the picture at top, it will be enough. At the end of course click on the 'Install' button.

To start our program just type in the console 'fp' (Free Pascal), and it should appear:

Now you have ready environment to start programming in Turbo Pascal.
